And the Journey Begins

Today, I woke up with this funny feeling...a feeling that I was not able to get rid of for almost the entire morning. After a good workout at the gym, I started thinking....did I work out too hard or could I possibly be pregnant? Hmmmmm? I continued on with my day, not saying anything to Juan. The two of us went out for dinner and on our way home I suggested we go to the store and pick up a good ol' pregnancy test (or three). Sure enough, that evening after all was said and done, we were pregnant. Just to make sure, I took an additional test the following morning. It too confirmed we were pregnant! We were so excited, being pregnant is something the two of us have talked about for a long time but something we knew we wanted to wait for until the "right" time. The "right" time for us meant me being done with school, both of us with decent jobs, and living in our own home. So is this the "right" time, of course! Not only is it a good time with the goals we'd set but we are also at a place in our relationship where we feel we've been able to share the last 6 years growing together, learning about each other, and creating a life that we'd like to share with a new little one. And so the journey begins!
