Christmas Present

This morning as a gift for Christmas, we decided to take an at home gender test that claims it can determine the sex of the baby up to 10 weeks earlier than the ultrasound. Not sure how accurate this test is, I had asked the doctor a few weeks ago and to my surprise she said it was fairly accurate. So sure enough, daddy couldn't stay patient until the 11th of January when we are scheduled for our anatomical ultrasound. So first thing this morning we took the test out of "curiosity." Disclaimer: we are still not 100% sure that the test is accurate but if we go by the Dr.'s word and how quickly the results showed well....then it is most likely a boy! I literally took the test and within a matter of seconds and not the 10 minutes like the box says, the color turned to "boy"

Daddy was so excited he jumped out of bed, started singing and dancing and hugging on all of us (dogs included). Me on the other hand well...can't say I'm AS excited as daddy but nonetheless, I am definitely excited and I'll warm up to the idea. I really don't care either way but part of me just wanted a little girl! Guess we'll just have a great excuse to try again later! Really I am excited for a baby in general boy or girl and just to see the excitement on my husband's face and to hear the excitement in the voices of our families was enough for me to know that this will be great either way!
