28 weeks

Today we had our 28 week visit, thats 7 months! Only 3 months to go, and yes for those of you who don't know, pregnancy is 10 months not 9 like they tell you! Our appointment went very well. Our little guy is measuring at 2lbs 11oz. He is growing very well and has developed a personality of his own. Well I guess a mixture of both John and me, a little stubborn mixed with more stubbornness. We got a wonderful crotch shot which allowed the sonographer to CONFIRM that we are having a boy. No doubt about that! Daddy was so proud of his little guy. Some of the glimpses we caught of him were amazing. We got to see him sucking his thumb and sticking his tongue out. Unfortunately he was positioned too close to my placenta that there wasn't enough fluid to capture a 3D/4D shot of him. We are currently looking into possibly getting that done, but with our look and cooperation of our little guy we won't get what we're paying for so it's a decision we are gonna have to make. The doctor says that we are in the last few weeks of getting the pictures done since he is growing and will soon not be able to move a whole lot. I'm going in to the doctors office every two weeks until I'm 36 weeks and then I'll go in every week to get monitored and see if he's completely baked. The nursery is complete now we are just waiting for our furniture and crossing our fingers that it will be here in the next few weeks. We're very eager to get the furniture up!

My tummy continue to grow and I'm starting to feel more of the physical changes *not that I haven't felt a bunch already* but it's getting harder to bend down and pick things up. Everything else seems to be going well. I know its going to get worse so I'm thankful that I am still able to do things such as shave my legs, drive our smaller car (with difficulty-but I still fit), etc.
