Cries, Cries, and more Cries

Yesterday morning I woke up at 5:00am to a screaming baby. The entire day was spent trying to comfort my little man. I was certainly put to the parenting test, trying everything I could think off to comfort Gabi and nothing was working. My little baby would sleep for an hour or two and wake up in agony, so much pain for such a little person. I never thought I'd hurt so bad watching my son hurting, and before I knew it, we were both on the couch crying. By 4 p.m. I had no clue what else to do and proceeded to call the pediatrician to ask what else could help calm this screaming machine down. They told me to observe him over night and they'd see us in the morning unless things worsened. Thankfully after Gabi's last screaming episode at 10:00 p.m. I decided to put him to bed and see if we'd make it peacefully to the morning. The little guy must have been exhausted from crying all day, he slept for 5 hours with no problem and woke up this morning a new man. Mommy too woke up a new person, well rested and relieved that my little guy was feeling better. We still went to the doctor's this morning just to make sure everything was okay, he checked out just fine and in fact we have another weight on him, 10 lbs. 10.5 oz. (that's almost 1 lb. in 2 weeks). Little guy looks plump and healthy! Guess mommy is just going to have to work harder at soothing the little guy, oh yeah and giving him gas relief drops every few hours. Cross your fingers we get a better handle on this gassines!
By the looks of these pictures...gas is under control!
