Gabriel turns 1 month old

Happy 1 month birthday little man! I can't believe how time has gone by so fast. It seems like just last week I found out i was pregnant and just yesterday Gabriel came into this world. This past month has just flown by and as much as I can't wait to interact and play and converse with my son, at the same time I wish so much that he could stay this tiny. I love being able to cuddle with him, to hold him with one arm, to hear all those little baby noises, hear the newborn cry, etc. I definitely am taking mental pictures and creating memories of all these precious moments but I wish so bad that I could just stop time and get to enjoy them a bit longer.

Our 1 month visit with the pediatrician went excellent. We are weighing 9 lbs 5.5 oz and are right on track with our weight gain. The doctor says Gabriel is eating well and looks perfectly healthy. He is measuring in the 50th percentile for both height and weight and only in the 25th percentile for head circumference (thank god he didn't inherit his dad's giant head). Next visit is in a month. Can't wait to see how much my little guy grows and matures over the next thirty days.
