Every day you continue to amaze us with what a beautiful little boy you are inside and out. You have smiles that drive us wild, noises that make us laugh, and expressions that we just aren't sure how you are able to make sometimes. You are always calm and happy, unless you DEMAND something our are suffering from a bad case of stomach gas.
One of the most beautiful things you are doing right now is smiling. No matter what the situation is or what the mood in the room is, we can always count on you cracking a little smile. It's amazing to see your development and know that when we smile at you, you understand, and smile right back. Your smiles are the most innocent and truly happy smiles we've seen. And if we're feeling down, sad, stressed, or mad, your smile does the trick to cheer everyone up.
You've started talking, even though we don't understand exactly what you're trying to say, you are definitely finding more and more ways to communicate with us. You have a few distinct noises that you repeatedly make and we are able to have a full length conversation off these few noises. Even mommy and daddy are starting to learn your language and you seem to enjoy that so much. Laying in bed in the morning with you is such a precious time for us, we are able to get lots of good laughs and conversations in, what a beautiful way to start the day.
Not only are you reaching developmental milestones but you are also growing in size and weight. We can't believe how big you're getting, every day we have to try on your clothes just to make sure they still fit because these days there is no guarantee. It's wonderful to see you grow into a healthy little boy, while at the same time it's sad at how fast time goes.
We treasure every moment with you and can't wait to see what you do in the next month.
