Play mats are so much fun. There is so much to look at and do when you're laying under one of these. Today Gabriel got to hang out under a play mat that my mom bought to keep at her house for when he comes over. Well it came in good use this evening when we needed a place for him to fall asleep. When we first put him in there he was so excited, watch the video below to see how much he enjoyed all the bright colors and sounds.

Gabriel is also starting to push himself with his legs, it's only a matter of time before he is able to turn himself over.

Notice the Giraffe that Gabriel is looking at, its a soothing/sleeper Giraffe that plays sounds and music on a timer for when baby falls asleep.

It will definitely come in really handy for me for those nights when I'm dead tired and can't stay awake to push the button on Gabriel's bed that makes these noises for only a few minutes. Now I've got this handy giraffe that can assist me by playing these sounds for up to an hour!! After lots of play, Gabriel fell sound asleep.
