Dr. Appt 4 months

Gabriel had his 4 months doctor appointment today and came in weighing at 15lbs 3 oz and measuring at 25 1/4 inches tall. He is in the 50th percentile for weight and 70th percentile for height. The little guy got three shots this afternoon and was such a trooper, he cried but after getting picked up into mommy's arms he was comforted quickly. The doctor gave us the green light on starting cereals and moving into fruits and vegetable purees. We are so excited to start feeding Gabriel food and are amazed at how he is growing so fast.

After the doctor appointment, we went out for dinner and unfortunately on our way out the restaurant, Gabriel was not strapped into his car seat and took a plunge onto the cement floor. Luckily he was only a foot or so of the ground so the fall wasn't too high and fortunately nothing happened. The little guy had been sleeping and was so freaked out from his fall that he just cried and cried. Mommy and daddy were so scared that we decided to take him to Children's to get him checked out just to make sure. Doc said he was fine and we were released home within an hour. It was definitely a scare and taught us to always make sure Gabriel is strapped in!
