Christmas Tree Lighting

The city of Parker had it's Christmas tree lighting ceremony this evening so we bundled up and headed out to O'Brien Park for the event with our neighbors Duke, Sandi and all the kiddos. It was freezing cold so to distract the babies from the weather, John bought Gabriel a light up snowman that sings Jingle Bells. Gabriel was fascinated by his new light up toy and Annabelle and Casey definitely admired the snowman, so much that Duke ended up having to get light up toys for them too. The tree lighting was beautiful but not quite sure we'll do this again next year, aside from the trees there wasn't a whole lot else to make it worth getting out in the bitter cold!! Maybe we'll head down to the Parade of Lights next year!?!
