Breckenridge

This weekend we took our annual trip up to the mountains to the beautiful town of Breckenridge. Our friends, Krissa and Arnie, joined us and helped celebrate our anniversary. Although Gabriel didn't go out and play in the snow, he did spend a fun morning at the pool with daddy and Uncle Arnie. Uncle Arnie, had the guts to dunk Gabi under the water, something both John and I were fearful to do. Surprisingly, Gabi did really well going completely under water and as a matter of fact, purposely kept trying to put his head under.

After all the fun Gabi had at the pool, the poor little guy ended up getting sick and coming down with a real bad case of diarrhea and a runny nose. Nothing like being away from home with a sick child. It definitely challenged our parenting skills but like always we manage! It also was great fun for Uncle Arnie and Auntie Krissa to have to wake up to an unhappy and poopy child as well as a "yummy" fragranced hotel room! Nonetheless, our weekend was great fun both with family and good friends.
