Our Second Appointment

Today we got to see a little creature, I guess a baby if that's what it's supposed to look like. Our appointment was great, we were able to observe our little one's heart beating like crazy. The ultrasound shows that I'm measuring at 6 weeks and 1 day. This now puts me at a due date of June 13th! Awesome huh, the little thing isn't even out and already its making its mother a liar! K so my guesstimate was off...shows how much I keep track of my periods! Nevertheless, things are looking good. The baby's heart was beating at 120 beats per minute. Both Juan and I felt a surge of relief and excitement when we watched the heart beating so strongly inside of me. It's crazy to think that I have a little life growing inside of me. We are still getting used to the idea but are loving every minute of it! We just can't wait and the last two weeks seemed like forever... Next appointment, November 16th, an entire month! WHAT! How are we ever going to get there, time seems to be moving so slow these days.
