New Changes

Juan has accepted a new position with a company that has offered him better benefits, greater opportunities, and more pay. It was time for him to say goodbye to his company where he'd worked for nearly 5 years. We're very excited that this job opportunity came when it did, as we'd like to take care of as many debts and bills as we can before the baby arrives. Part of Juan's new job includes traveling. We didn't think that we'd have to experience it right from the start but unfortunately he got a call from his friend who informed him that he'd be going to Durango, CO for this entire week. Prior to getting hired, Juan did tell his boss that we're expecting and that towards the later months of pregnancy he would not be able to travel far from the city. His boss was very understanding, but nonetheless, this week he's on an assignment which has taken him 6 hours away from home. My family all live very close by so I'm sure they'll be here to assist if I need anything, but still it's not the same as having him here with me. I'm missing him terribly and it's only been 10 hours since he left. I'm hoping that after this assignment, he'll be close. I'm already experiencing so many of these hormonal and bodily changes all by myself that it is comforting to have him here to experience or assist me in the experiences I'm having. I continue to keep in mind that this has been a positive change for us that will open up doors and assist us in preparing for the little one.
