34 week appointment

Today was our 34 week doctor appointment. All appears to be going well with baby and me. Blood pressure is under control, baby continues to grow and move and kick like crazy and everything is on track for me to deliver at 39 1/2 weeks. We got to see Dr. Owens today, our doctor that is also pregnant and due two days after us. We discussed things such as induction, epidurals, episiotomies, and banking cord blood. Seems like I will definitely be going with an epidural after hearing what a lengthy process an induction can be. My doctor said that she would most likely recommend it if I wasn't opposed to it, and certainly I'm not. She also recommended that I get to know another one of the doctors on staff who will be delivering her baby at our next visit. We thought that this was a good indication that the doctor she was recommending was her favorite and probably one of the best in the practice so we went ahead and scheduled our following appointment with her. Nothing else to report at this time. We're on cruise control for now.
