This evening for Valentine's Day we were invited by my dad to a fundraiser, "Hearts of All Ages" raising money for University Hospital Department of Transplant. This was a very important function for my dad of course, so we decided to skip our usual Valentine's Day dinner and celebrate as a family. The event was spectacular and Gabriel had the most amazing time. His night started out with meeting many of his grandfather's friends and coworkers, followed by dancing to a live band, a yummy dinner, and to top it all off, receiving a Mercedes Benz pedal car that grandpa won for him at the silent auction.

One day, Gabriel is going to grow up and be like Al, a race car driver, with his new Benz. Or should I just assume he'll be like his grandpa, driving the Benz convertible around town.... he sure knew what to do with it the moment we put him in his new ride!
